    When you tithe as a Christian, you are not tipping God! You are assigning a portion of your income to your community. When you tip a server or bartender, you are recognizing the value of their work. You are also recognizing that they often depend on tips to bring their income up to minimum wage.

    I wonder if that customer realizes that their tithe doesn’t actually go to god, but to those people who run the church (many of whom have been found to be corrupt and often sexually deviant throughout history)? What a load!
