@psychosomaticallyinlove haha you’re the asshole this post is talking about! I bet you send your food back all the time, make RIDICULOUS modifications to your order, and order water with NO ice. Every time you are a pain in the ass to the waitstaff you tell yourself it’s ok to disregard their humanity in exchange for your 8% tip…go fuck yourself.
Did it ever occur to you that people chose the table because that is where they really DID want to sit, and NOT because it was a dirty table? :-)
My guess would be they have no problem to wait for the staff to clean the table at their own time before starting taking their order. Otherwise they wouldn’t pick the dirty one if this was bothering them, now would they? :-)
I tell ya, the reason is it’s a good spot table in the join and they would really like to sit right there, that’s all. The reason is definitely NOT to piss you off. So relax and let them pick.

The only conclusion that I can come to is, That people want to dirty table because it probably means it has the most comfortable seats????
